This is the personal website of Roger Simões. It collects only what you send through its forms, and this notice explains what happens to that information.
When you use the contact form, the site stores the name, email address, subject and message you enter. A consulting inquiry is stored the same way, with the service you chose in the subject. Speaking requests sent before October 2026 remain stored and can be deleted on request. Browsing the site does not create a profile: there are no analytics scripts, advertising trackers or third-party cookies.
Submissions are used only to reply to you. Each one is saved in the site's database and, when email notifications are configured, forwarded once to Roger's inbox. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers or added to marketing lists.
The site is hosted on Vercel, form submissions are stored in a Neon (PostgreSQL) database, and notification emails are sent through SendGrid. These providers process the data on Roger's behalf and keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations.
Your language and theme choices are kept in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They never leave your device. The site's editor sign-in also uses local storage, but only Roger has an account.
You can ask what the site holds about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing contact@rogersimoes.com. Requests are handled personally and without charge.
